It is the philosophy of Little Miracles Child Care Center that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring and discovery. Infants, toddlers and preschool children are creative and receptive. The staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend.
Our Mission is to provide an atmosphere that encourage social emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development of the child as a whole.
Planned within the framework of philosophy and mission, Little Miracles curriculum includes sharing and conversation time, stores, songs, puppet plays, creative art activities, arts and crafts, games and large muscle activities, field trips throughout the community, food preparation, science and nature activities, exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, and letters, and celebration of birthdays and holidays.
We hope to accomplish our Mission by offering a carefully planned educational learning experience through The Creative Curriculum. The foundation of the creative curriculum is based on early theory and research. Encompassing the foundations are the five components that guide our curriculum; How children development and learn, the learning environment, what children learn, the teacher roll, the family roll. Within these five components, lies the interest areas where children's learning is enhanced through developmentally appropriate toys materials.
